Glendale Pawn and Jewelry

Read any good Pawn Shop blogs lately?

Taking a break from blogging, especially Pawn Shop blogging can be a good thing. First of all it gives the brain a rest and lets the humble Pawn Shop scribe return to something that resembles a human being.  So what does the dedicated Pawn Shop blogger do when he or she is supposedly taking a break from blogging about the Pawn Industry? Well…drum roll please…we read Pawn Shop Blogs!

Why? Well, this isn’t like writing about politics (of which there are 1,000’s of sources for material) or comparing new automobiles and automotive trends (a quick trip to a local car dealer will arm the blogger with more facts and figures than he/she needs.) or even blogging about restaurants (where one can go forth and expand the waistline rapidly in the name of journalism.)

Pawn Shops have become main stream now. We are fun, hip, clean and a great place to help make your life just a bit easier. Because we’re mainstream…we should have our own Pawn Shop blogs to help communicate the facts of what we do and who we are. I mean how hard could it be?

The truth is…Being a Pawn Shop blogger ain’t easy. To do this regularly and at a high level of quality requires commitment, dedication and plain ol’ hard work. Just ask Don Battis of Pawntique, he consistently cranks out some first class posts and a LOT of them too!

Another excellent online publication is La Familia Pawn and Jewelry, who also does a great job with their Pawn Shop Blog. Informative, useful, insightful and very well written. (They need a wacky character like “Gpawn” in there to mix it up a bit, but if you’re looking for first class information and useful knowledge presented consistently and accurately…La Familia delivers.)

Nathan’s Lynnhaven Pawn Shop
also does a fantastic job with their blog. It’s extremely well written, entertaining and informative. (Visually it’s quite stunning too!) Their publishing schedule also indicates that they’re dedicated to their blog and view it as an integral part of their store’s operations.

So what is the importance of a good, well crafted Pawn Shop Blog? Well, if you look at any genuinely outstanding Pawn Shop blog…surprisingly there aren’t as many as you might think…you quickly understand that the Pawn Shop that takes the time to produce a high quality blog on a consistent schedule also cares very deeply about their customers, staff and community. They are advocates within the Pawn Industry and they work tirelessly to help change the traditional “Image” of the Pawn Shop
.
So aren’t we a bit concerned about mentioning three high quality, competitive Pawn Shops by NAME in OUR Pawn Shop blog? Not at all. We’re quite confident that if they were writing a similar Blog Post they would have included Glendale Pawn and Jewelry in their list and also would have pointed out that there is a growing group of Pawn Shops that have embraced their acceptance into the mainstream by genuinely making a positive contribution to the Pawn industry and their communities.

With Pawn Shops that features a high quality blog, you probably won’t find big inflatable mascots in front of their stores. (Although we have nothing against big inflatable mascots) You won’t see any offensive, racially stereotyped Pawn Shop commercials on late night television and you certainly won’t find their websites clearly slanted toward one political opinion or another (I don’t agree with the political position that your store advocates? I guess that means you don’t want me as a customer?)

Nope, what you’ll consistently find, that just like Glendale Pawn and Jewelry, the Pawn Shops with high quality blogs are working hard to INCLUDE EVERYONE within their customer base, demonstrating respect for EVERYONE and making sure that when it comes to their community, EVERYONE knows them as an asset and not a detriment…just as Glendale Pawn and Jewelry does.

Need fast, hassle-free cash loan for one of life’s “OH NO!” moments? (We too have children that are regular visitors to the Dr’s office and we also have dogs that will eat just about anything….that is incredibly bad for them.)  Have too many designer purses, iPads, iPods, firearms or old gold jewelry? Well, we can certainly turn those items into cash faster than you thought possible. Need to save a bunch of money (30%-60%) on top quality merchandise such as fine jewelry, home electronics, and computers and just about anything else you can imagine? All you have to do is stop by and see us or shop online anytime at our E-Bay, Amazon and Gunbroker auctions.

We’re Glendale Pawn and Jewelry. We’ve been helping people out with these types of challenges for well over 25 years now and if there’s a way to help YOUwe’ll find it.

Oh! By the way…”We’re glad you’re here!”

Gpawn- Thanks for the kind words. And Kudos to you as well-

Your blog is always educational and entertaining at the same time. You speak the truth when you say it's a lot of hard work.

I admire your perseverance- but that's not unusual for Chiefs Fans.
