"To blog or not to blog…"

Loyal readers of “The Blog-View”, thou art truly a durable audience! You have hung in there with gpawn on occasions when mere mortals would have “bailed”… (Oddly enough, nobody seems to have “bailed” and our audience has grown dramatically during our run of approximately +79 blog posts to date…gpawn is too lazy to do the exact math on this.) You have laughed out loud whilst reading this electronic publication at work…when you were supposed to be working. You have rolled your eyes on more than one occasion whilst muttering, “Where does he come up with this stuff?” And through it all you keep coming back for more and bringing your friends and loved ones?

 So what has kept you reading and why is it that you feel comfortable recommending our blog? Perhaps it’s because our blog isn’t like any of the others? We’ve commented about current events, politics, pop culture and just about anything you can imagine. We’ve offered to buy the Kardashian wedding ring, ran a sale on golf clubs for the day after the world was supposed to end and announced that Sarah Palin was not including us in a stop during her “Nationwide Freedom Tour”. We’ve been poetic, funny, weird and probably everything else that you can think of. Oh yeah, we’ve also kept you informed about the happenings here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry…which is actually the primary mission of any blog.

We firmly believe that there is enough of “The same” in this world. The same boring blogs that are just like every other boring blog (Usually following the same formula that is pounded into marketing school students during their “education”…pity…they used to be such intelligent young people until they went through the process and evaluated the blatantly obvious…ad infinitum…”) We think there’s a shortcut to understanding all of this “Business stuff”. It’s called, “The same is the same and will always be the same” We get tired of it and so do you. You deserve exceptional and we are here to provide EXCEPTIONAL.

So, to those of you who are in business (Whatever business that might be?) and have decided to quit blogging after five posts (Gee, not as easy as it looks?), or who are following the old, “Choose one from column A and one from column B” approach to taking care of your customers we say…thank you. There will always be room for “The same” but until you provide EXCEPTIONAL, there’s always Glendale Pawn and Jewelry to fill that particular niche.
